After 30 years in the trade Sue has moved to The Old Inn, Holton to start the next chapter in her successful career. Previously she was head chef at the Unicorn Hotel leading a team of 5 at this dining hotel. She then moved on to become head chef at the Market Bar in Somerton, which was more geared up towards the fine dining end of the restaurant trade with a gorgeous 65 seater restaurant serving contemporary bistro food. After only 4 months in Somerton she got the Market Bar listed in the Good Food Guide and after guiding her 2 young apprentices she was used as the focal point for the governments apprenticeship scheme marketing along side Marco Pier White. Sue is keen to get The Old Inn back on the map for it’s food and great service. She’s striving towards getting in the Good Food Guide and maybe even pushing for some rosettes.
